FAQ

Got questions about Our Housing Solutions:

  • What types of housing solutions does your organization offer?
HOUZD provides a range of housing solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of the unhoused population. These solutions include transitional housing, emergency shelters, and access to the Master Leasing Program for both property owners and developers.
  • How does the Master Leasing Program work, and who is eligible to participate?
The Master Leasing Program, offered in partnership with HOUZD, allows property owners to lease their units to HPP CARES as the master tenant. This relieves property owners of the burdens associated with managing tenant challenges while providing immediate housing to individuals and families in need. Eligibility criteria for participation vary; please contact us for more information.
  • What criteria do individuals or families need to meet to qualify for interim housing assistance?
Eligibility criteria for interim housing assistance may include factors such as income level, household size, and housing instability. Our certified homeless housing counselors assess each case individually to determine eligibility and provide personalized support.
  • Can property owners or developers specify preferences for the tenants placed in their properties through your programs?
While we strive to accommodate preferences when possible, our primary goal is to match individuals and families with suitable housing options based on their needs and circumstances. We work closely with property owners and developers to ensure a positive experience for all parties involved.
  • How does HPP CARES ensure the safety and security of individuals and families participating in your housing programs?
The safety and security of our participants are paramount. We implement rigorous screening processes for both tenants and properties to ensure a safe living environment. Additionally, our housing counselors provide ongoing support and assistance to address any concerns or challenges that may arise.
